Qualified Lawyer – Property (Ipswich)
We have an opportunity for an ambitious qualified lawyer in our property team. We are a niche and busy firm with an expanding client base with a long and steady reputation for providing a stellar service to our clients. We welcome applications from those wishing to advance their career and with progression prospects for the future and with 2 – 5 years pqe.
The role
- Managing a busy caseload of residential property matters, including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, Shared Ownership, Re-mortgages, and New Build developments.
- Handling cases from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of service throughout.
- Providing estimates and taking instructions
- Drafting and approving legal documentation, including contracts and transfer deeds
- Working as part of a collaborative team
About you
- Minimum 2 years Residential Conveyancing fee earning experience, essential.
- Proven track record of meeting fee targets and deadlines.
- Strong legal knowledge and understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Happy to attend networking and business development events

Receptionist – Ipswich
We are a well-established law practice based in Ipswich, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our clients.
The role
As our Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our front desk and providing a warm welcome to all visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and post efficiently.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the firm’s diary.
- Performing general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, printing, and data entry.
- Franking and collating outgoing post
- Liaising with solicitors and support staff to coordinate client needs.
- Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area.
About you
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role (experience in a legal environment is a plus but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A professional demeanour and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Benefits
- Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Full-time, Permanent (job share will be considered)
