Jane grew up in West London and read a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Education at Warwick University, graduating with an Upper Second. Jane is a Chartered Legal Executive, having qualified in 2004 when working for a firm in Ipswich.
Jane joined Bates Wells and Braithwaite from a Lincolnshire firm where she was Chair of Lincolnshire CILEx, having been instrumental in its launch. She has extensive experience in personal injury litigation and has dealt with claims involving injuries of all types including very serious injuries. Jane has also undertaken work for the Pro Bono Bar Unit to assist litigants who are unable to afford a solicitor and unable to access legal aid.
Jane has three adult daughters and is a doting grandmother and in her spare time, she is a Local preacher in the Methodist Church, sings in a choral society, and is a fanatical gardener and cook!
