Zoe Southgate joined Bates Wells & Braithwaite, Ipswich in February 2023 and heads up our Private Client team. She was promoted to partner in November 2023.
Zoe is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. She has over 20 years’ experience in providing advice and assistance with wills, probate, inheritance tax planning, administering estates, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.
Zoe began her career as a legal secretary in litigation and rapidly progressed through the CILEx exams to become a qualified lawyer in 2010. She is an Associate Member of Lifetime Lawyers and also a Dementia Friend, specialising in mental capacity issues and care home fees.
