Nicky is a Family Law specialist who joined the Bates Wells & Braithwaite team in Ipswich, as a Consultant, in October 2022.
With over 30 years’ experience, Nicky was formerly a partner and Head of the Family practice with Ellisons, a major East Anglian law firm. She was made partner of that firm in 1996 and was the resident Tendring partner leading the Frinton office for 18 years. She retired from Ellisons at the end of 2020.
A Resolution-trained Collaborative Lawyer , Nicky is experienced in all aspects of Family work, including financial applications and Private Children Act Proceedings. She can also make claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependents) Act 1975 and is experienced in Court of Protection work.
She lives in North Essex and is a member of her local parish council.
